    From wikipedia

Rosmarinus officinalis, commonly known as rosemary, is a woody, perennial herb with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves and white, pink, purple, or blue flowers, native to the Mediterranean region. It is a member of the mint family Lamiaceae, which includes many other herbs. The name "rosemary" derives from the Latin for "dew" (ros) and "sea" (marinus), or "dew of the sea",[2] because in many locations, it needs no water other than the humidity carried by the sea breeze to live. The plant is also sometimes called anthos, from the ancient Greek word ἄνθος, meaning "flower".[3]
Rosemary is used as a decorative plant in gardens and has many culinary and medical uses. The plant is said to improve the memory. The leaves are used to flavor various foods, such as stuffings and roast meats.

    Growing Herbs and Spices

We all love food which is tasty. It is tasty as it is spicy.
No 1. confusion that i will like to clear there is a difference between spicy and hot.
A food is spicy when your taste buds react to it so its more on flavor part.
And hot is which will require water mil or any other thing to tame down so your mouth does not burn.

So we can say hot things are spicy but not all spicy things are hot.

This is important as the taste pallete accross the globe varies.

given is a explanation how we derive taste from Wikipedia

Now Invasion of India and many other countries started with spice trade. Even in market today 100gm of some spice are very expensive, and if you want a fine taste the preserved spices are not that effective than the fresh ones.
The best part is you don't need extensive space to grow them and small amount of gardening helpes with your blood pressure.

Most gardening books and books about growing herbs talk about plants suited to those climates.
Well, you will have a hard time to get chives to grow through a tropical summer...
Grow the hardy garlic chives instead! But most of all, look at Asian and African and other exotic cuisines and the spices you used to buy for those dishes. You can grow all those culinary herbs and spices yourself, and it isn't hard!
Here's a (growing) list of herbs to get you started.

A-Z list of tropical herbs and spices

I am gonna write simple methods hof how to grow them apart from the bark based spices. I also know that the list is not complete and will be updating it. My plan is also to provide free recipes which uses these spices.
